Samuel Chinecherem Ezeh, a 27-year-old fashion designer and student at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, has officially claimed a world record for designing and sewing a robe with the longest sleeves ever made.
The sleeves of Ezeh’s show-stopping garment measure an astonishing 51.20 metres (167.97 ft) long. To put that into perspective, the sleeves are longer than the height of the Statue of Liberty (46.5 m) and even longer than an Olympic-sized swimming pool (50 m)!
Ezeh’s incredible feat is a testament to his passion, skill, and determination. He overcame numerous challenges to bring his vision to life, and the result is a truly unique and awe-inspiring piece of wearable art. “I wish to take it on a tour to display it in different countries and cities to show the world what it looks like,” Ezeh said.

There is Samson Ajao who in a remarkable show of mental and physical endurance. Ajao set the world record for the longest marathon reading aloud. He read for 215 hours—just one hour shy of nine full days. His record was officially confirmed on August 28, 2024.
Munachimso Brian Nwana: A 22-year-old content creator, Nwana successfully visited 150 fast-food restaurants in 24 hours in Abuja. This feat broke the previous record. His achievement was officially recognized on August 16, 2024.
Additionally, Owoyemi Qudus Adebayo, a barber who demonstrated exceptional speed and precision. He set a new world record for the fastest time to complete five skin fade haircuts. Adebayo, a student at the University of Ilorin, achieved the record in just 14 minutes and 56 seconds. This was done on July 12, 2024.
