Join our team as a skilled Video Production Manager committed to creating captivating content. As a valued member of our media production team, your passion for video, animation, basic photography, and inspiring professional growth is paramount. This role is based in Accra, Ghana.

Salary: ₵1500 per month.

Responsibilities
  • Diverse Video Filming and Editing: Film and edit a wide array of content, including entertainment videos for film, music, podcasts, events, and commercial promotions, using industry-leading editing software. This include on-site and on location shoots.
  • Efficient Coordination: Manage and coordinate filming schedules, ensuring streamlined production timelines.
  • Methodical Asset Management: Maintain an organised digital filing system for meticulous management of production assets.
  • Resource Stewardship: Ensure the optimal condition of equipment, studios, and facilities for continuous smooth operations.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise junior staff, interns, and volunteers for successful project execution.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and timely project delivery.
  • Best Practice: Be committed to following company and industry best practices in order to deliver the best possible production that competes at a high level.
Required Skills:
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate an adept problem-solving ability alongside a team-oriented mindset.
  • Language Proficiency: Exhibit fluent proficiency in both speaking and writing in English language.
  • Technical Knowledge: Display a strong understanding in operating gimbals, cranes, and related equipment.

  • Organised: Showcase strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Versatile Skill Set: Demonstrate proficiency in content production, camera operation, and editing across studio and on-location settings.
  • Technical Knowledge: Leverage good experience with lighting and sound equipment.
  • Video Creation: Present essential experience in video creation and processes spanning pre-production through post-production.
  • Camera Handling: Display familiarity with Cinema Cameras and DSLRs.
  • Production Skills: Exhibit production skills with a methodical approach from storyboard to final editing (or be willing to learn).
  • Adaptive Workstyle: Thrive in both fast-paced, collaborative on-site and online environments.
  • Self-Sufficiency: Successfully manage all responsibilities independently; our setup does not involve dedicated lighting/sound technicians – our producers handle all aspects.
