We are seeking a passionate and creative Volunteer Social Media Manager to join our talented team. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to elevate our presence, engage our audience, and drive organic growth. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media campaigns to enhance our reach and impact across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.
  • Create engaging and shareable content that aligns with our brand image and resonates with our target audience.
  • Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of captivating posts, videos, and other media.
  • Monitor social media trends, track key performance indicators, and provide regular reports to evaluate the success of campaigns.
  • Foster meaningful connections with fans by engaging with their comments, inquiries, and messages on social media channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate promotional efforts and marketing initiatives.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry developments, emerging platforms, and digital marketing techniques to maximise our brand’s online visibility.
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices for content optimisation.
  • Excellent creative and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and develop engaging content.
  • Experience with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and scheduling software, or be willing to learn.
  • Strong organisational project management abilities, including multitasking and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members, and external partners.
  • Passion for music and entertainment, a keen eye for identifying trends and emerging artists.
Desirables:
  • Experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably within entertainment industry.
  • Educated to degree standard in a relevant subject area.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising and paid social media campaigns.
  • Graphic design skills and knowledge of photo and video editing software.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and the ability to optimise social media content for search visibility.
  • Knowledge of copyright and intellectual property laws as they relate to social media marketing in the entertainment industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to network and build relationships with industry professionals.
