It has finally come to an end. I mean, part one.
The 5ive Alive Tour, which started in July 2025, has wrapped up its first phase. From international countries like USA, Canada , and Dubai to several African cities including Akwa Ibom,Yola, Enugu, Abuja and Lagos the tour closed this chapter with a strong performance in Cotonou.
Just when it felt like that was the full stop, Davido made it clear it wasn’t. This was only the end of part one, with Europe next.
He’s been calling 2025 “2025ive,” and it fits. The year has been long, busy, and packed with tours. This tour stretched across months, cities, and borders, and you could feel the consistency behind it. Not just that, the excitement from fans is everywhere.
What stood out was how he carries the same energy from one country to another. Letting people experience the music live, even those that are not Davido’s fans could attest to it.
Online, some people congratulated him for pushing through such a long run. Others referred to him as the best artist of the year. A fan also highlighted how Davido supported her small business, making her year a great one.
