BHIM Concert “5th Dimension Homecoming Edition” at Accra Sport Stadium. The Ghanaian-international dancehall musician Stonebwoy, aka 1GAD, rocked the stage yesterday, December 22, 2023, at his anticipated Sold Out concert. His intention was to combine three of his well-known performances into one remarkable event. This event took place at the Accra Sports Stadium, and it was a fantastic evening of performances and unrivalled musical prowess. He has since made a post on him twitter/X account with the caption BHIM Festival 2023 – Romans 8:31 😇
Known for his electrifying live performances and hit songs, Stonebwoy brought his music to whole new dimensions by fusing the “Ashaiman to the World Festival,” “5th Dimension Homecoming,” and “Bhim Concert” into one exciting evening of festivities, music, and harmony. To top it all off, he also performed his new song, “Overlord”, to further highlight his supremacy on local and global music scenes.
The fact that Stonebwoy has been touring extensively and performing his “5th Dimension” show around the UK, Europe, and North America adds even more significance to this concert. With the “5th Dimension Homecoming Edition,” he brought this worldwide experience back to his homeland, Accra, Ghana. Fans and music lovers from Ghana and those from across the world had an unforgettable experience.
With a carefully crafted lineup of diverse musicians from Ghana and the diaspora, international musician Jahmiel joined Stonebwoy on stage as the guest headliner for the event. He was thrilled by how Ghanaians and all the fans screamed out the lyrics to his songs word for word. The goal of the lineup is to unite African and Caribbean origins. Our very own artists, such as Kofi Kinaata, Larruso, Pappy Kojo, Fameye, Mr Drew and many others, performed on that stage yesterday. Other personalities such as the former Blackstar/Sunderland football player Asamoah Gyan and former Togolese/Arsenal football player Emmanuel Adebayor were present to show their support to Stonebwoy. His aim of moving the event to a stadium and selling out the 40k-capacity venue has been achieved. A host on Accra FM revealed that the show had already sold 30,000 tickets a few days before the actual day of the concert.
Without a doubt, building on the popularity of earlier iterations, the Bhim Concert, founded by Ghanaian international musician Stonebwoy, has become one of Ghana’s largest-scale and most well-attended artist-led music festivals. We are proud of the Bhim Nation president, Stonebwoy. We want more such huge concerts for our artists and wish them all the best in feature plans.
