The Ghanaian singer/songwriter has released a new single called ‘Goodsin’ and the song has taken off and gone viral. The song is seeing wild numbers on all streaming platforms and social media platforms such as tiktok and instagram.
This new hit is part of his new EP ‘Avana’ which clearly exhibits the new artist’s potential to create fascinating afrobeat sounds by fusing some captivating lyrics, appealing rhythms and amazing vocals. The chorus to the song is catchy and was made to be a sing along in mind, which will instantly grab the attention of the listener and win you over. He is already gathering a good number of true fans for himself in the music scene as of now.
His real name is Joel Ofori Bonsu (@olivetheboy) and he was born on October 9, 2002. He is currently signed to Under Loop Entertainment, a record label founded by music producer BeatzVampire also known as Craze from Ghana (@iam_vampire_official). He stated in an interview with Kwadwo Sheldon a renowned Ghanaian youtuber that he started taking music seriously in his second year in high school but begun his music career officially in 2021 after signing to his current label.
His single is currently the most streamed Ghanaian song in the first half of 2023 with about 10 million digital streams by Chartmetrics and also the most shazamed song in Ghana and Nigeria. This statistics just goes to show that the new artist is a sensation and has won a spot for himself in the music scene in Ghana, Africa and across the globe.
