Just a few days ago, Wizkid was named Africa’s biggest earner on Spotify, with an impressive earning of around $1 million monthly. Spotify is a leading music streaming platform that allows artists to reach a global audience and earn revenue based on the number of streams their songs receive.

Chart Masters, a platform that tracks such music statistics, reported that Wizkid’s monthly profits are thanks to his impressive streaming numbers that have exceeded 8 billion. They previously reported back in November last year, that Wizkid’s latest studio album, Morayo, earned 16.27 million streams within 24 hours of its release on Spotify.

His revenue places him at the top among influential African artists, ahead of names like Burna Boy, who earns $782,148 monthly, Tems with $660,210, and Tyla at $607,804. Other artists in the rankings include Davido with $458,615, Asake at $451,553, Omah Lay earning $421,123, Ayra Starr with $400,972, and Rema at $367,973.

All the artists mentioned above are Nigerian, except for Tyla, who hails from South Africa.
