Efya, the spectacular and sensational Ghanaian songstress, has recently released a new single titled Super Super. The song was produced by one of Ghana’s favourite music producer M.O.G Beatz, who has produced mainly for Sarkodie and artists such as Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, etc.
Jane Fara Fauzzier Afia Boafowaa Yahaya Awindor, popularly known as Efya, was born on April 10, 1987. The singer hails from Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana. She made her stage debut in the maiden edition of ‘Stars of the Future’ music talent competition show in 2007. She emerged as the first runner-up of the show as she lost the first position to Irene Logan. The two came together to form a duo called Irene and Jane but went separate ways after a while. In her solo journey in music, she went on to win four consecutive Best Female Vocal Performance Ghana Music Awards. She has constantly released hits ever since.
In addition to being a well-known female musician, Efya is also an official ambassador for the Awal Children of the Future Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to aiding those who have experienced physical and emotional trauma, especially orphans and street children. We cannot help but commend Efya for this humanitarian work. Efya indeed does promote female empowerment.
Efya’s fans and music lovers know that the new single released makes you want to dance or tap your feet due to its uplifting lyrics and melodic Afrobeat rhythms.
